If I go in to the garden , I can hear the furious sound of angry typing carried on the breeze all the way fromWest London.

COGs running rampant in E Anglia though.

 

Brentford game finally finishes, not a single shot on goal looool. 2 points dropped by them against a struggler suits us just fine

 

I have a theory, with the massive pile up of fixtures I wonder whether Ivic style of playing slow and boring will reap dividends later in the season when clubs with smaller squads and/or playing a more attacking style of football will burn out more. Maybe the borefest, which has to date kept us in and around the top area is part of a master plan.

A lot of the football in this league has been poor this season, I guess time will tell whether anyone will pull away from the pack but on current evidence I doubt it.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Ivic seems very keen on protecting players.

 

Norwich and Bournemouth will stay as the top two.

Football fans are fickle. Brentford fans calling for their manager to get sacked.

 

Previous game they didn't have a shot on target, I'm not sure even we've managed that!

 

We won today and half our fans seemingly want Ivic out! But even after the game a good chunk of Brentford fans want him out and think their football is awful this season.

 

Maybe we could do a manager swap with them?

 

Absolute bedwetters. They are in the top 6. They should remember where they've come from, that they sold all their best players, got four new stands and had a great season last season.

They should be careful what they wish for. W*nkers.

Not much love for us here, I did not realise the Brentfordians are not massively keen on us! I remember going to Griffin Park and seeing Richard Johnson scoring from 25 yards, it may even have been during our Div 2 (now League 1) winning season, but maybe someone will correct me. I was sat in the home stand and celebrated, and got a load of abuse for my troubles.

 

How unusual is their dislike for us, Brentford have always been completely irrelevant to me.

 

Tyrese Campbell ruled out for the rest of the season, big blow for Stokes playoff hopes.

 

Just need Pukki, Buendia, Brooks, Solanke, Ayew, Joao and Moore to all suffer the same fate and we should be sorted!!

 

The night game early on in GT first season -very large crowd for Div 4-their old stand which was knocked down in mid 80's and replaced by that wendy house stand used to hold the home fans-it was mixed in their that night. Over 14,000 with a lot of trouble IIRC.

Compare that to two years previous on a saturday in our first season in Div 4. Under 7,000-as teenagers we arrived and ventured into the Royal Oak end not sure what we would find only to see a few hundred watford already in there so we joined them. My only other memory of that day was whenever Brentford fans gathered to the side to see if they had enough numbers to run at us was Bobby W ordering a few of the older lads led by the O..... brothers from south Oxhey to wander over towards them whereupon the threat disappeared. The police looked on satisfied that there would not be any trouble on that basis.
