Well it was a general studies exam and apparently the IKEA owner said his buisness and products were making the world a better place environmentally speaking.
I said he was highly deluded and that he should seek help if he truely believes this.

    That was my conclusion ;D

on a year 9 r.e exam when i hated the r.e teacher and had no intention of doing it in gcse (and new my dad wouldn't give a carp bout an r.e. mark) just completely took the p!ss, the r.e teacher got slightly offended, still think i got 9%! even though i can't remember one serious answer

what were the non serious answers?

its an easy gcse, all you have to know is how to answer the question (ie. the structure:
give an opinion, talk about otherviews why (says in the bible/moral opnion etc.) and you get full mars foor that question!

    its like ticking boxes really

i got a* at gcse for rs. turned up for one lesson the whole year and passed it because i remembered a line about the universe and karma from the simpsons, and because its a piece of p*ss.

gcse buddhism. you can't fail to pass.

i even remember the line homer says which i based my entire exam on. "You can't sell that! Karma can only be portioned out by the cosmos." and then i added a little, and repeated myself over and over again, adding my own knowledge and giant amount of filler.

    I loved the elephant :]]

I always reckoned it was my duty to put at least one answer like that on an exam paper to lift the tedium for the poor marker.

Looks like some of the mock gcse's me and some mates have done.

One question on a maths exam was to factorise something , my mate then found the answer was not " i'll factorise you good !!!! "

Great find, never seen them before but I was lolin hard. It's not a stupid answer but I heard one student got asked "define bravery" in an exam so he simply wrote "this is" and left the answer blank. Personally if I was the examiner I would have wrote NICE TRY SMARTARSE. FAIL

my only lesser examples are in a dt exam when they ask what to do in an emergency if somebody hurts there finger. I put amputate. The other was in my mock chemistry gcse i got a detention and yet full marks for my answer of holy water to a what is this substance description the actual answer was water.

Those ones up are absalute classics though. The guy hanging himself about sums maths up generally.
