What team would you play for the game game against Ipswich in the FA cup. My team: Lee Mariappa,Sh***u,Avinel,Powell Robinson,Mahon,Douglas Rinaldi Ashikodi,Priskin,Kabba Subs:Chamberlain,DeMerit,Parkes,L.Henderson,Francis I feel we cant afford to play all of our big players as any injury at this stage of this season wouldnt help our survival push.Also with Cavalli doing well yesterday(West Ham) I dont feel it would be a huge risk playing Douaglasinho and Avinel after we saw how well Cavalli did, and also feel Theo Robinson deserves his first start after how well he's done for the reserves.
sorry mate, have to disagree. Full strength team, keep up the momnetum as the new players need to gel and only first team action can do this. We tend to play badly after a long break, so playing a team like you have picked breaks up the momentum. We have enough cover in he squad to bring players in. We are going to win the FA CUP - 40/1 with william hill, any one know better odds?
Can understand why would play a strong team because I am sort of stuck on whether I would play a strong team or not ,because like you say we have to gel all our signings but then I wouldnt want any big players getting injured as our premiership status is more important then the FA cup imo.
Aidy will do his usual - play a team that he feels is capable of winning. Will probably be a mixture of your team and a full strength team.

Don't forget Hull are lower in the league and we weren't exactly convincing against them in the League Cup even with a full strength team. Best to play our best team (with maybe a couple of modifications, like Powell and Chambers taking over as the full backs) just to keep the momentum going.

But we also need to get some of the new fellas into the side. Hoskins and Williamson are tied - am unsure about Williams. I still chose Kabba and Hendo up front as they seem to be developing a partnership and one more match before the key game v. Wigan will be good for them. Maybe just 45 minutes each so they're fresh. I'd love to see Priskin and Moses get a run in and maybe Chambers if he's fit.

Just checked. We were both wrong. Skybet, for example, will give 1/2 the odds if you back Watford to win the FA Cup eachway and they reach "the first 2 places" (ie the Final). Not bad...
