You can bet your life that once road pricing is introduced - coach, train, and even air travel will follow the trend upwards (simple economics) - just consider the big picture.
Well coach obviously will as those companies will be as affected by road pricing as anyone else. Maybe train and air will also increase but it'd probably drop considerably at the outset to attract new customers who have previously driven everywhere. In the long term everything will go up...
Air travel prices are definately going up due to the future taxation of petrol for planes which is currently 0%, which is why budget airlines can be so cheap.
It doesn't do them any harm to be paid to land by towns in the suburbs of big cities all over Europe either...
