Myself and two others started as stockport county in a bid to see who could guide them to the premiership first. Needless to say none of us have done it yet. One person who is a couple of years ahead of me has been to the championship but went down to league one whilst the other participant had a similar achievement record to me but one season was different, he went down to the conferance hahaha. Personally i've been stuck in league two and am currently in the 11/12 season. My league positions in order of year so 06/07 being the first are as follows. 18th, 22n, 18th, 4th(lost in play-off semis), 9th and i'm currently 14th in january of the current season after slipping away from the leading pack. However last season's top scorer has missed all of the season so far with a broken leg whilst Ben Wilkinson signed for 180K from Hinckley hit 5 in 7 but then broke his ankle and is out for 5 months I still have some of the original squad i started with and my current team includes Toumani Diagouraga. It has been a true career game and i'm currently england manager after deciding to apply for it for the sake of it. I got bored, resigned and then they pleaded with me to take the job again so i did ;D I'm itching to get out of league two. It shall have to be a late surge this season.
7 points from 3 games has seen County jump from 14th up to 6th. The run started with a wonderful 3-0 thumping of Lincoln who are top of the league, including Marc Elston's (last season's top scorer) first goal since returning from his broken leg.
