So some of you Rous boys will have to move Well, my days of claiming to have one of the best seats in the house are well and truly numbered, as the club (that nice Mr Flavin) have now written and confirmed that the Directors will have "the best seats in the house" from next season. :'( (and I thought they'd go and sit at the back - b*gg*r). Just for your information, then I have been offered 3 options elsewhere in the R for the next 2 seasons (UR - hanging off the Vicarage Rd end, hanging off the Rookery end; LR - a seat level with the Penalty Area at the Rookery End) or I can slum it in the Rookery, with the lower orders ;-) . But we will get 1st dibs at the central area of the new East stand from 2010, and us refugees will be rewarded :-\ for our forebearance and loyalty. Just as well they didn't see me stamping my feet when I read the letter, then. Apparently there are 3000 season ticket holders due to be relocated, as the Family Area is moving from the LR to the Vicarage Rd end - partially for work to be done and partially to make room for the likes of me (and that's a lot of room) - actually I've just re-read the related paragraph and it does read a little like emotional blackmail. They also included photographs of the views from the possible alternatives - golly, I have been a lucky chap.
