Southgate is an Eagles fan

The day after Chris Eagles wins Burnley a safe passage into the fourth round of the FA cup it appears that Gareth Southgate is preparing a £2million bid for the former Mancheter United player (and loanee at Watford)

Was a great goal indeed. He is too good for this league, and a player we should have tried to keep.

 

I think people forget just how much of a bottle job he suddenly became after he scored 'that goal'. I remember him coming in before Bolton in the cup and being the only player on our team worth there money (i mean specificly during the bolton cup game), he was getting very stuck in chasing everything down etc, then became a tart after 'that goal'.

It would now appear he is good again, however!

 

Agreed he was a bit of a pansy, but still better than anything we have at the moment.

 

If only we'd signed him instead of McAnuff.
