Just seen he's rejected the transfer of his contract from Rangers to the 'newco' version of the club and looks set to be a free agent. Wasn't there rumours when he went to Rangers that it was between us and them for his signature? He'd be an excellent signing.
I agree Nath he would be a cracking signing. The only stumbling block is if he wants to come here. When he went to Rangers he wasn't very interested in coming to us.
I'm sure he'll have a number of options if he has indeed left Rangers on a free, but hopefully we'll be a far more enticing prospect in the coming days than we were the last time he spoke to us.
It looks like they might lose a few players. Many of the 1st division clubs have said no to Rangers joining them so it looks like they'll end up in the 3rd division. If that happens the agents will be getting their players to move elsewhere.
