Seriously when i get some time i will post some pictures up just from snorkeling, that will blow you away.

 

Prefer the Indian Ocean, but know loads of people who have been.

 

the best ones are the not se well known ones, the schools tend to stick to the old faithful, but if you ask you do get.

Oh, and Finding Nemo is one of my favourite films!!

 

If you go to some of the better Atolls in the Maldives you can see 95% of what you can see diving just by snorkeling.

It always amazes me how some people rush ahead and miss 75% of what is actually there if you take your time and have a bit of basic knowledge.

Does knowing all the words to finding nemo count as basic knowledge??

 

No and I never want to see it, I get scared everythime I dive, especially off a boat, so will not watch that film or may be too scared to dive again

yeah, dont watch it then!! but just make sure that every time you dive off a boat, you make sure everyone knows you..... just be loud so if you are not there, people will wonder where you are

 

on hols, I pretty much always dive with my friend I go away with, also last week had the same instructor all week, and he's not likely to leave me behind

I am hoping to be a rescue diver by then, will be able to go to 40m deep in lanzarote, some of the best wrecks and caves were at 30m odd and too deep for me, that's why I am going to do the additional training,

yes, open water and aiming to do the advanced jan/ feb if I can find a weekend with out football

no, only been to Horsey Island in England but am looking to rectify that next year when it warms up a bit
