The Samaritans have just tweeted asking for all non-Watford fans to only phone in tonight if it is a genuine emergency.
I thought Bakery and Saarkey were two separate players... Holy Sheet, I'm beginning to feel a bit better!!!
@Samaritans - we're here for you 24/7 @wfc Fan - I'm very depressed @Samaritans - apart from 12/12/17, we're here for you 24/7 @wfc Fan - I'm worried about our likely run in the FA Cup @Samaritans - apart from 12/12/17 and possible/totally unlikely FA Cup runs we're here for you 24/7
Yes, you actually could hear it in his voice.... He was watching it and he could see it going pear-shaped and he conveyed it. He is, in my opinion, a very good commentator (not just for that moment). Also, I rather like Derek. Yes, he mangles the language but he's pretty much on the money, football-wise.
It was so blatant it was obvious,as Andy Hines said in the '80s! We could all sense the frustration of not converting those two main missed opportunities. That frustration turned to anxiety and finally to despair at the catastrophic outcome. I saw it,I've watched Watford for more than forty years,but I'm still in a state of shock,sorrow and anger. And it's my birthday next week! Blast it all.
Don't worry about your birthday, I'm sure you will have one next year, and if you remember rightly you had one last year (which at our ages only feels like last week),
