Yeah, I been on the phone to America for the last 20 minutes explaining that because we have people from all over the UK with similar issues it's NOT MY PC!!!!! They appear to be making progress now!
It appears I actually convinced them to reboot our particular server, which is why you would have been getting database errors for 10 minutes a little while ago. Hey, just like the main boards now
load speeds still poor , i get to see each smiley appear one by one , like the old dial up!! But still good to see that the one in charge cares about his fans
Noticed that it's slow again right now. Been in touch with the hosting company and they're running a server backup at the moment so should be back to full speed again soon ;D
I dont know why people dont just stop complaining about it and see it as a sign from the boards gods that you have work to do!! And those that dont have work to do take it as a sign that there are some that have work to do so the boards gods are trying to make it hard for anyone to post so that the whole UK workforce doesnt come crashing down along with the economy thus causing a global financial disaster the likes of which have not been seen since the end of the V**** reign at watford!!! (I was once told I could slightly over dramatise things a little... dont know what makes them think that but its an opinion i guess!) lol

sorry my bad, Yes the site can be slow on occasions and I agree with wfchornet2, that it is the gods of work telling us to go and do some. Today the site has been running smoothly I feel, people only moan when it's slow, lets say how good it is when it's working fine;D
True. I'm the same with other sites and things like the arcade mod for this site. I was talking to the creator of the arcade in his forum and said that even though I was always telling him about the bugs I appreciated the work he did on it. He told me there was a paypal donate button to collect the thank you's
gonna set one up? you should charge per post!! I think it was last week it was really slow, especially on Tuesday although last night there was a database error? But today it is running smoothly whihc is bad as I have work to do
