Im not jumping the gun or anything but i was just wondering where the semis are going to be held im sure i heard something about cardiff, i have looked on the millenium stadium fixtures but nothing is happening the weekend of april 14/15 niether is any of the playoffs mentioned i have also looked at old trafford fixtures and nothing on there only that man utd are at home to chelsea on the sunday 15 april,cant find any fixtures for wembley does anyone know where they are.
Technically they should be held at Wembley, as that is where the FA have said FA Cup Semi Finals will be held when the stadium is actually finished. But it looks increasingly likely that it won't have got safety certification in time for the Final in May, let alone the Semis in April. The FA have to hold two 'ramping up' events to get the safety certificates. They have said one would be a women's international and the other an under 21 international (both obviously with limited capacity). I personally can't see the Semis being held in Cardiff whatever the scenario. If not Wembley - which seems highly unlikely now - they should be back at Old Trafford and Villa Park. Man U v Chelsea is scheduled for that weekend but the chance of them both being knocked out in the Quarters are minimal anyway, so that'll be moved.
If we make it to the Semis and are drawn with another London club then the Emirates. failing that I would rather go to Villa pk than Manure purely based on travel distances.
