Im not sure if this has been posted before so forgive me if it has.

I have not posted on here yet but have been scanning the board the last few months, generally through sheer boredom at work!

I read somewhere that Jose is considering getting a few youngsters out on loan and would like to know peoples opinions on Sinclair.

For me, when he was on loan at plymouth he looked class. Quick, skillfull, eye for goal and a hunger that you need as a young up and coming player. For me, he would be the player that Aidy would be looking for in his search for the perfect balance of experienced players and young hungry ones.

    Your thoughts please.

    Welcome to the boards mate.

If it's true that Bouazza is on his way out then I think Sinclair would be the perfect replacement and even if it is on loan at the start, WHEN we're promoted we could try and make it permanent.

I imagine he would come on loan here as it's not far from where he is now and it's a step up from Plymouth albeit we're in the same league.

I agree, he would be a class loan signing, but towards the end of last year he was starting to break into Jose's first team, making a few sub appearances, so maybe he will feature for them this season.

I believe a loan signing from a premiership club (as mentioned Scott Sinclair, or Ben Sahar from chelsea perhaps) would be good for the club in terms of getting back in the premiership, but i wouldn't like to rely on a loan signing too much, as it means we would have to adapt to life without them.

Personally i think he would be ideal for us, hes extremely fast and skillfull, and id love to have him here :)

the problem with loanees is that the agreement usually involves them starting. That is fine in the case of Ben Foster, but if we got Sinclair on loan who do we drop regularly for him to start?

Welcome. I heard a rumour last week that he was one of our targets. I'd be quite happy with it as he's a talent alright.

Well in my opinion i'd chose him over, hendo, smith, ashikodi and hoskins.... depending on othert transfers, sinclair/king combanation upfront or bouazza/sinclair combanation on the wings....

From what i have heard from some palace fans is that Jobi can be a bit lazy at times, only turning it on when the spot light is on him if you will. As for smith, there is no doubting that the lad has talent and will never stop running but does he contribute enough goals to the team?

We cant afford to rely on Marlon to score all the goals. We need more options in midfield to chip in with goals as Springy did in our promotion year. I think Sinclair would be a great option to have playing behind the front 2 with either jobi smith or boozer on the wings. That will allow Gav to sit in front of the back 4 if he is gonna be in the team.

I think that this formation worked well for us when it was used, i think Francis played behind the strikers if i remember correctly. We looked far more dangerous going forward and i think if we are to be successful this year we need to use pace and hit teams with quick, counter attacking football.

That is why we have brought in Rinaldi, Williamson and Williams. We have a huge amount of midfield options now.

I am not really interested in loan signings unless they would considerably improve our squad. Scott Sinclair would provide this, especially if Bouazza was to go. His goal against Barnet last year in the FA Cup was one of the goals of the season and I am sure in 2 or 3 years time he will be knocking on the door of the England team. As he is still fairly young, I am sure Mourino would not insist on him playing every game like other loan players seem to have to do at clubs and he could be one of those exciting players to bring on in the last quarter of a game.

Would be a quality loan signing...fits the bill of 'two footed wide player'.

My family (all Chelski) rave about him.
