Despite him going AWOL a couple of times I still feel he would be a good player for us to sign in the summer especially if Kabba leaves.And just incase you havent noticed Aidy does seem to like players who have had trouble in the past(Marlon,Moses etc.)so I do feel he could be a good signing(if Aidy can keep him out of trouble)

We need to be aiming a little higher I feel.. seeing as weve got money for once, how about sign someone thats semi proven and no trouble! Someone that might actually deliver the goods (cos at the moment even the postmens struggling!) .
Why is every Watford fan so afraid of good players with high wages? There's a perfectly good reason why a good striker or midfielder or whatever wants 20k a week and I'll give it to you here: A season in the Premiership is worth a lot! I don't know exactly how much, but I've read figures of £41M So let's say you have five of these "20k a week Premiership players". Well it will cost you £1M each a year so that's £5M total, but guess what - the chances of staying in the Premiership increase with them! Of course, you have to be able to judge who are worth it and who are not. Say, Ramon Vega, is _not_ worth spending 20k a week on, but David Bently _is_. So what standards are we going by? Do we want a team of 5k-a-week Championship players ala Lloyd Doyley or do we want 20k-a-week players like Daniel Agger? What if Marlon wants 20k a week, should we say "feck off, lousy 20k-a-week-striker" and buy another fifth choice striker from Sheffield United? I think not. Yes, I think we should aim higher than Sammy Bangoura but of course it will be even harder to attract good players now that we're going down again.
I'd prefer we signed players who are going to become a '20k a week' striker or midfielder, as it is, we're just signing players in the middle or '10k a week' mediocre performers without the potential to become '20k a week' players. Look at Kabba, i've no idea how much he's on but it can't be too high, mediocre in every aspect apart from his pace, which he doesn't want to use because he likes the ball at his feet or can't be arsed to use because he's standing hands on hips in the centre circle.
