Hmmm premier league team and pay, working with Kompany, but live near Burnley, or el cheapo contract but join "London side" Watford.
Played a good amount of minutes at DM as well as CM last season. Looks a versatile all rounder, decent defensive stats + progression etc.

Can't see any reason why Burnley would want him given his career so far. Didn't seem to accomplish much in two spells in Serie A and one in Switzerland - even in Turkey he's only ever made 20+ starts in the league in two seasons by the age of 29.
We may well not and might only be mischief making in the Turkish media by the agent, given Ucan's entering the last year of his contract. Easy to link to a former manager and then just chuck in a promoted club too.
Don't think there's much in this, Turkish media are unreliable at the best of times (seems to be that they're picking a 'top' Championship club with links to his club), although in fairness, he did earn a recall to the Turkish national team this year! Why, I'm not quite sure as it doesn't look like he was a guaranteed starter at Besiktas...
My Turkish football contact tells me likelihood of this happening has now dropped to 4/10. Despite signing Oxlade-Chamberlain implying he falls down the pecking order, the Besiktas manager has selected Ucan to join him for at the press conference tomorrow, possibly to ward off any suitors by demonstrating he remains part of his plans. Make of that what you will.
