hm...Always worth a go and he must have some quality to be an International for a fairly decent country albeit only Under 21s.
I haven't found out much about him except for that he is 1.82m tall, was born on 15-07-1987, scored 3 goals for Sopron last season, who finished 10th out of 16 in the Hungarian league (though I don't know how many games he played and whether he was at them for the whole season) and he looks like this:
But they dont all reckon hes the worst http://www.xtratime.org/forums/showthread.php?p=5479697&posted=1#post5479697
On the contrary. We won't hear of this bloke again until January when he signs for Bristol Rovers. Then sometime around April he'll get all of his eight goals for the season over a two game spell saving Rovers from a return to League 2. The reports will not pick up however on his new league record of 'most shots off target' stats This will prompt certain members of this forum to have a hissy fit and spout "Chrissake Aidy why didn't you sign this bloke ya muppet"
Right! Firstly take a breath. Then sit down, have a cup of coffee - stick on a CD, maybe Enya. After that, come back on the computer and read the first link again. You'll feel better for it I promise.
he hasn't signed anyone all he has done is offer this player a trial-which is very common at this time of pre season, so he can have a look at him chances are he wont do anything, aidy will tell him 'thanks but no thanks' and we'll never hear about him again much like job last pre season

Romanian Training with us Romania Under 21 international Cristian Cigan is training with Adrian Boothroyd's Watford. Cigan has been playing in Hungary for FC Sopron and was thought to be on the brink of joining Italian side Atalanta. But he has now pitched up at Watford and trained with the Championship club for the first time on Tuesday. He will spend the rest of the week with the Hornets before Boothroyd makes a decision on the youngster. Boothroyd is looking to add to his squad as he aims to take Watford back into the Premier League at the first attempt.
DON'T WANT TO REPLY TO OWN POSTING BUT: Striker on trial at The Vic By Kevin Affleck Comment | Read Comments (4) WATFORD have taken a Romanian Under-21 international striker on trial this week. Cristian Cigan flew into Heathrow last night from Budapest and was due at the Hornets' London Colney training ground this morning. The striker, who turns 20 on Sunday, has had spells with Dinamo Bucharest, Hungarian outfit FC Soppron and Atalanta Bergamo. advertisement The move provides further confirmation that Aidy Boothroyd is desperate to increase his options in attack. The manager has Marlon King, Darius Henderson, Will Hoskins and Steve Kabba at his disposal but he feels he needs more firepower to mount a promotion bid. Boothroyd is also monitoring developments at Craven Cottage and is ready to swoop should the Cottagers decide to sell the out of favour Heidar Helguson
