Wealdstone Wealdstone, struggling near the bottom of the "not-even-the-Conference" league Theo must be absolutely desperate for first-team action. I know we now have almost as many strikers as Colin, but for a player who's supposedly knocking on our first-team door......... Wealdstone
Despite their poor leagues (why not swindon or rotheram etc ???) Its still 1st team experience, which will make them better players
I would have liked to see Theo go to a league2 club and Jarret to a league1 but as mentioned it's first team football. Good for them and the clubs.
the reserve team hardly play a game, whe they do it needs our second string to play to remain at some level of competetive fitness, albeit not that great. Theo will now at least get a proper 90 mins run out whilst leaving a place available for the likes of Tamas or Hoskins etc etc to have a run out in the reserves for match fitness. The experience will do Theo good, he looked lively at Charlton for the 15 mis he was on for.
from what i have seen of robinson ,he is too good for that standard of football, unless they want him to go there and get a bucketload of goals to boost his confidence. i can't see why we don't link up with St Albans City more. Robinson is good enough fo conference standard and city could do with a bit of help to keep out of the relegation zone. jarret to boston is a bit surprising as boston are meant to be very skint, therefore i presume we must be paying most if not all of his wages still. seems a but weird if his contract is up at the end of the season as boston might struggle to sign him permanently and he does not seem to have much of a future here being what 5th choice left winger now
I remeber at holiday i went on the internet and went on sky sports new and the brighton manager said jarret does really good for u on trails but than slips away or sumthin is that what he has done for us?
Robinson did well on his debut, though Wealdstone lost 5-2 at home. He set up their first goal and scored the second. http://www.stamfordafc.moonfruit.com/ Jarrett did less well. His Boston team lost 3-0 at home to Shrewsbury. He obviously didn't do much but the Boston official website seems to give him some credit for at least trying. http://www.bufc.co.uk/fansite/fixtures/matchReport/srv.do?fixtureId=444712 Blizzard, meanwhile, has played 90 minutes in each of Stockport's last two matches, each a 1-0 victory. Described as 'steady' by one Stockport site.
hey UEA, see how the fiscal site ripped off your report on the loanees. I'd sue under copyright laws.... you'd have thought their work experience kid could have come up with his own article rather than nick yours. I reckon he/shes getting too comfy in those nice new comfy chairs and plush new offices theyve invested in!!
Lol yes I did notice that. Obviously the new office typing monkey was lacking inspiration so decided to pop on here for some idea generation. And then thought "**** that, I'll just nick something". Expect to see "An anthology of ****" tomorrow morning...
I think Jarrett was staying put as he's done quite well, and still would be some way off the first team. As for Theo it seems he's been banging them in for fun but the question is if non-league level is enough for him? I haven't seen any official info on either but I wouldn't have expected that anyway.
