For the current crisis, yes. Scott wanted RE and it was a disaster. He falsely briefed that Giarretta was gone and turned the whole thing into a circus and now he's briefing against the owner. What a snake.

In the champo Scott has a track record of backing people who can't get us promoted. He backed Rob and 2 years ago he backed 'no goal' Deeney to get us promoted. Scott is the one who has created a culture of lies and deceit at the club. He is the CEO not the tea lady.

I blame Gino for the debt and his failure to recruit a decent CEO and DoF. But he can point to 6 years in the prem, 2 FA cup semis and a final and some amazing players amongst the dross. Gino can't be replaced unless someone wants to take on our debt which ain't gonna happen. If Gino wants the money we owe him, we go into administration and could lose the stadium. 'Gino out' is pointless self sabotage.

Replacing Scott with a decent CEO would instantly improve the club. Scott is unsure whether he can lie his way out of the current situation so instead of being honest, he's saying nothing and using his sycophants to push the narrative that its all Gino's fault. He's a snake oil selling charlatan.

We need a talented CEO who is a footballing man/woman and a DoF that is fit for purpose.

    And a fooooookin right back!!!!

It's the second time I've heard the terminology woke today. I'm an old ******* that hasn't got a clue what context it's being used. Please help.

A term typically used by the older generation to negatively portray equality. People complain about the BBC "going woke" by having more female commentators doing the football or Disney casting a black Little Mermaid. Basically things that have little impact on their general lives but for some reason outrages them.

I think woke is characterized by 2 aspects. The first is values that are often described as liberal or progressive and which range from ideas most people agree with like: 'women should be paid the same as men for doing the same work' to more controversial ideas like: 'some women have a D***'. Both are woke ideas one is widely accepted one is hotly debated.

The 2nd aspect is the reaction to people who arent woke. There are several parts of this i) labelling people who express unwoke views in a negative way eg people who believe gender is bioligical are labelled transphobic.

ii) viewing people who arent woke as inferior to woke people

iii) trying to restrict the voice of unwoke people

iv) trying to harm unwoke people by getting them sacked, deplatformed or cancelled

    v) taking action against unwoke people without due process or a fair trial

vi) restricting what people can say in public if it doesn't fit into woke ideology

vii) asserting the right to decide who is woke and who isnt

viii) adopting an 'i am right, you are wrong' attitude to opinions and debates

Thanks . You have woken me up.
I don't agree with some things that l see happening or changes to the norm.
It is my choice as to how l react to them.
With some things l just turn off or turn over the TV or turn down the radio.
I don't demonstrate against it, l simply disagree.
Do l miss Football Focus? No, l just find something else to do. I am sure l will adopt a similar policy to other areas.
I make the changes in my life to deal with the changes fostered on to me by others.
It is simple really. It is just an adjustment that is all.

Woke is a concept beamed directly into the brains of the susceptible. Created in America, weaponised by the right to suggest that anything approaching fairness, compassion and understanding for people who don’t fit into the cookie cutter idea of “normal” is somehow liberalism gone mad.

An impressive study in how sections of a population can be steered to think in certain ways very effectively. Five or so years ago literally no one in the Uk referred to anything as woke. Now it’s part of the “plain speaking common sense” lexicon.

I was called 'Woke' last week by an older gentleman because I'm a vegetarian. I'm such a radical.

Gino - a strong Gorgonzola. Not for everyone but no doubt it has a strong whiff and leaves a distinct after-taste

Edwards - a vegan cheese in biodegradable cardboard packaging. Looks like cheese, has the texture of cheese but has absolutely no flavour

    Duxbury - dairylea triangle
