the london paper today said rinaldi has been linked with a loan move to the scum.

bad move i think, he should at least be on the bench here. league 1? does aidy not remember the run against chelsea?

Whilst Williams and Francis are out it would be stupid to let him leave on loan.

If he was in Ady's plans he would have been played by now. No point in keeping him here.

We can't play one player based on 4 seconds of football.

Aidy see's him day in day out and for one reason or another doesn't think he is right for teh first team at the moment

Maybe being on loan might help him

This doesn't mean his judgment is beyond question, after all, he sees Mahon day in and day out too.

Aidy did sign him as well I presume with the thinking of playing Rinaldi.

In Rinaldi's defence, lots of Brazilian players take a while to settle into English football, probably especially so in the championship where the physical intensity is probably unlike anything he's used to.

If you think of people like Edu and Gilberto at Arsenal, it took a year or even longer for them to settle and begin producing what they are capable of. Obviously we saw glimpses of his potential last year and so did Aidy which is why we signed him on a permanent basis. I'm hoping this is the case that he's taking a while to settle because last year he looked like he could be a real player for us. Give him time i say.
