Well done Luke! Good to see there is still a route for the young pro to work his way back up if he has a set back. Do well at Sunderland and he'll be a Championship mainstay in the next few years.

Any idea what our sell on % is?

I think we have to give Sunderland 3% of what they paid Wycombe, 7% to Everton, 5% to Flumenese over any profit we made on Pantilimon and the rest to Silva paid in kind from the Swatch Shop. And that's why we won't be signing anybody else. Ever. FML.

Best thing about this news is that a couple of weeks ago, the scumbags up the road were pretty sure they'd be signing O'Nien.

Torino haven't taken on Charlie Rowan after his trial and he's now in a similar arrangement with Serie C side Ternana Calcio, aka The Beasts.

    Good luck Charlie.

Ternana, under test English defender Rowan.

Central defender Charlie Rowan is on the pitch from the first minute with the Ternana shirt.
20 years old, English, the defensive central is 1.80 tall and is on trial.
He recently supported an audition with Turin. Calcistically he was born and raised in Watford.

An update on our released players from the end of last season (if anyone cares):

Dennon Lewis: Just been released by bottom of the Scottish Championship Falkirk

Charlie Rowan: Playing for QPR's youth team now

Nathan Gartside: Moved to Derry City in the League of Ireland but I don't think he played a game in their season which has now finished

Brandon Mason: Seems to be playing regularly for Coventry City in League 1

Carl Stewart: This is the youth player than randomly moved to Udinese for a year. Signed for Oxford City (6th tier) in October, went on loan to Bedfont Sports (8th tier) but then moved to Wingate & Finchley (7th tier) in late November. Not even sure if he is still there.

David Sesay: Signed for Crawley Town in League 2. He made his league debut on December 29th

Max Ryan: No idea where he is

Louis Rogers: No idea where he is

Connor Stevens: Joined Weladstone (6th tier) and has 21 appearances so far this season.

Doesn’t look like we made a mistake releasing any of them!

    Sounds like an advanced procedure.

It makes you wonder what value our academy adds or, maybe, how well they recruit.

Several of my son's mates from his Div 2 Surrey Youth League team (when aged 14-16) are playing around this level. The goalie is now Southend's first teamer. At 15 he was playing left back.

The fringes of pro football are brutal for kids - bravo to the lads above who went to Italy - & character is, I fancy, more important then pace & teckers for all but the absolutely outstanding.

    UEA_Hornet First Team Captain

Harvey Bradbury, who played a couple of years for our U23 side without ever troubling the first team squad and was released in the summer, has just signed for Woking on loan from Oxford. In time to play on Sunday in fact.

  12. Teide1

    Teide1 Reservist

Obvious where to put your money on first goal scorer then!
