Nice looking pitch down there these days. I think they had it levelled a few years ago. Still can't work out who you are?

Maybe he's still looking for his razor, hasn't had a shave since last time he got sacked.

QSF was one a of a few managers with a plan B.

3 months in and I'm sacked? That's fine, I'll play Santa in the Intu grotto.

Think we should take our time with this appointment. Put Mullins in charge as caretaker. Please not another panic decision. This season has gone

I thought this was an utterly terrible suggestion. I still do, but if it becomes fact, then the joke is on all of us, but at least you called it.

Hughton 8/15. looks very much like it will be him. Next favourite on Paddy Power is Mark Hughes! Jeez

I want to be the first to say Goodbye and Good Luck to QSF. You tried your best, but were dealt a bad hand and given a squad who
didn't care in the end. Also, you dug your own grave with some very questioning sub choices at critical points in games.

I used to have faith in the owners when it came to managerial appointments, as I’m sure did most of us, while to the rest of the world we looked like a basket case of a club.

We are now well and truly that basket case.

I’m taking the fact that one bookie has Allegri in the running at 14/1 as evidence that none of them know...I can live in hope.

Watford have sacked manager Quique Sanchez Flores after Saturday's 2-1 loss to Southampton, saying "ultimately results have dictated our decision".

Chris Hughton is a possible successor and the Hornets said a replacement will be appointed "imminently".

Sanchez Flores, who was in charge for the 2015-16 season, was reappointed on 7 September, replacing Javi Gracia.

But he won just one of his 10 league games in charge with Watford bottom of the Premier League.

"Quique is a man of great integrity and it was clear how much he wanted to have a positive impact, but ultimately results have dictated our decision," said chairman Scott Duxbury.

"The appointment of a new head coach is imminent, and with nearly two-thirds of the season remaining, we will provide all the support necessary to make the coming months successful."

To add to my one post above, it’s funny how we always used to get roundly criticised by the media and people like jug ears etc for regularly changing the manager. Ultimately they’ve been proven entirely right, out approach to managers and player purchasing has come home to roost. It’s so ironic we used to believe they knew exactly what they were doing, but they didn’t! It was quite a lot of luck all along.

Good that the board will provide all the support necessary, the fans won't - especially if Hughton is appointed.

With luck, we may establish a new record - two ex Watford head coaches sacked the same day.
