I have not heard of any activity regarding transfers (reliable sources anyway) except Stewart and Ellington going to Derby. Over the coming weeks, will we go out to sign players that could get us promoted or much the same as last season less a couple of players? What will next season have in store for us then?
There is still another two months until the window closes. The players we have been linked with: Helguson Volz McLean Gorkks Hoolahan Davenport DJ Campbell dismay They haven't gone anywhere else, and for all we know, a few of them may be 'done deals', and we'll hear more when people return from holidays etc. As for the question, I believe Aidy would be an idiot to think what we've got is good enough to get promotion. A lot of people had reservations going into last season anyway with the over crowded squad lacking flair and quality. He said he wants/needs 6-7 players, I believe he'll deliver around about that number...who they are and whether they're good enough, remains to be seen.

All aforementioned players (apart from Campbell :dismay would be excellent signings and we'd certainly do a lot better than last season.
Aidy has in the past gone for D.J and this worries me. :dismay::dismay::dismay: i also think that with limited funds he will hope our home grown youngsters will make the first team ! by this i mean l.Henderson, theo etc. but although, in time, they should make the grade i hope he doesn`t think they are ready just yet. i must admitt that as it stands i am worried about the coming season. but then again i suppose, as said above, there are 2 months to go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this does my head in
