It’s open to abuse by the state owned clubs inflating sponsorship, but that’s no different under the current system.

Outside that I don’t see how it will separate the league more than it already is, bigger clubs make more money and would always be able to spend more, regardless of how much of a percentage they can spend of it.

How do they do it ? Every game they are played off the park, ship 3 chances to everyone they create yet still score and win points. Same today.

 

Unlikely. Fair play to Luton, they've really used the Tom Lockyer situation as a real motivation driver all season. They're staying up on vibes rather than any sort of dominance in games... but 3pts is 3pts and whether that's a viable strategy for next season and beyond (it isn't) is no concern for them.
