I would give Hungbo a chance too. Always seems to do well out on loan including in the championship last season. Perhaps if we played him in his proper position instead of trying to force him into a wingback we would have seen more of him. I certainly think he's a better player than most on here give him credit for.

 

Worry he falls into the Quina category of scoring some great goals but doing very little else. Was struck by his lack of work rate in the games he played for us last season.

 

First day at work. Can probably start opening the doors on his 'advent' calendar, counting down the days until he is sacked.

 

After taking his first training session, and seeing the players laughing and p1ssing about as they usually do, you can imagine he's asking "when are the new signings coming?"

 

I know, he’s worse than all of them.

First day back is normally a load of fitness tests, muscle strength etc. Kalu's simply says, deceased through old age

 

Been very impressed with their quality and design of kits. Hope we renew with them again.

When I see the absolute dross that turns up on first day of pre-season training, I usually have to remind myself that all the half-decent players normally have some kind of excuse to come back late. This year I am struggling to think of too many I am particularly looking forward to getting back.

 

You mean you aren't excited to see Daniel Flapmann back at LC? Shocking.

 

He didn't actually do well at all - Reids explained this with stats close to the end of the season. He scored one notable screamer, and that's about all he did. His overall contribution was poor/unremarkable, as it was with us.

 

He is the next Quina. One screamer = many years of unjustified hype.

 

This is his year.

 

5 quality goals in that game iirc. And yes, we were 3-0 up and cruising, and nearly chucked it away.
