Portsmouth release 5

Noe Pamarot, Lauren, Djimi Traore, Glen Little and Jerome Thomas have all left the club after their contracts expired.

Anyone know anything about them?

 

little and Thomas can do a job in the championship not sure who thw others are

Thats 5 players I'm pretty sure Little use to play for reading, quite good. Not sure how much his wages would be though.

all the wages would be MASSIVE, only player with a chance of coming here from pompy would be a youngster on loan maybe...

 

All of them would want 10k +

 

Wage demands would be far too big for what we are capable of providing. Little is the most realistic there, but i wouldn't particularly want him here anyway.

 

I know the Prem is loathesome, but I can't believe people haven't heard of these.

Traore played badly for Liverpool, Pamarot badly for Spurs, and both are out of our price-range. Lauren played well for Arsenal (heard of them?) when they were winning things, but is getting on and would be far too expensive. Little was a very good Championship player, but is getting onand is injury-prone.

Which leaves Thomas - a former Arsenal junior who did well on the wing for Charlton but didn't get many chances at Pompey. He could be a prospect, though at the upper end of our price-bracket. He would be an improvement on Jobi and cheaper too.

 

Isnt he the one that scored the amazing own goal for Liverpool were he basically did a roulette in to his onw net

 

Yep. And gave away a Fk in the 1st minute of CL Final that lead to a goal

 

Jerome Thomas is from Kilburn, drives an Aston and is related to a hip hop singer who won a Mojo. Wasted football career though.

 

Apparently Thomas is off to Birmingham, and Little is off to WBA.

 

Glen little would be worth a punt, no?
