Aside from the fantastic 'FTRE' what do people on here podcast and why? I enjoy The Football Ramble and Guardian's Football Weekly podcast. Both reletively funny as well as informative and provide a number of views on the weeks football. I also podcast Fighting Talk from 5 Live just for ****s and giggles, it passes the time on train journeys. I download the 5Live Film Review one with Mark Kermode, and by the same token Radio One's review show, in general to see what has been released although when something gets an absoloute slating it can be fun to listen. I also download The Game podcast from The Times. For some reason I keep listening to it, even though it infuriates me more than anything. The views expressed are often purely made to create controversy, and there is a real arrogance to the way they go about it. What do people on here download, and what would people recommend (both about football and otherwise) to pass the time enjoyably?
Soccer Report Extra, and the Total soccer show. On the weekend the total socccer show plays the wikipedia game.. it's pretty fun stuff
The Danny Baker football show from a Saturday morning is a decent podcast for midweek listening, I used to think he was an idiot but I actually quite like listening to him now.
If you can find some old Russell Brand podcasts I advise you to download them. As far as podcasts go nothing else comes close.
