Not on him anyway, maybe another year out on loan? I'd worry about signing anyone that was at Rangers this season though TBH
Horrible attitude apparently (a rumour). Not sure i'd want that here, especially since he hasn't set the world on fire at queens park raisins.
Would love Isla myself, understand the points being made but he is a very good player. Juve paid 12 million for him not so long ago for a reason, he was tremendous at Udinese and will know a few of the lads + the Pozzos. QPR is full of bad eggs and egos so Its easy to get dragged into that. With a manager like Slav and playing in a hard working team I really think he'd thrive. Whenever I've seen him play he works his arse off and is up and down the wing all game. He is way better than Motta and Paredes, so for that reason if he was avaliable I'd take him.
Not sure about Isla. He might be a good egg caught up /corrupted in a bad situation, but he could also easily just be a bad egg. I don't think he's also played well this season and has been caught out on many an occasion defensively. There might very well be a good player in there that has been played badly by Arry and Ramsey, or he could just very well be a player that's not suited for the English game. I'd rather not take a risk on someone like him and go for someone else instead
Not that we need a striker, but I think Vargas could do well from the odd matches I saw of him at QPR. Played out of position all season at QPR. Needs to be up top.
Not really sure where to place this link, but it's about transfers and I thought it was well written by someone that's done some research. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...y-prioritise-the-premier-league-10249385.html
Players who are officially 'bad eggs' should have to wear some kind of symbol on their shirts so fans can clearly see who they are. It's a disgrace that most of the time they go unknown.
Or they could drip some boiled egg down their shirt in the morning before heading off to work? That's what I do.
Garbutt. Player called Galloway has gotten in ahead of him today despite Baines' which suggests he's going to be available on a free this summer. Young, homegrown & a beauty of a left foot. Natural wing-back.
Remember watching an England u-21 match a few months ago and being shocked that i had never heard of a winger called Garbutt who was running the show; it was only when i remedied that through some research that it became apparent that he was actually doing it from left back. I'd be very enthusiastic about this as a signing; seems like an ex machina Pozzo player and the guys from the pod (Guardian) seem to be convinced that he is going to be available this summer whatever, so give him the marketing spiel and sign him up, really.
Anyone still wanting Ince should what his dad said today: the way he's been treated at Hull is a disgrace and they should treated him like the next Gareth Bale. Want us to have nothing to do with this horrible pair. And daddy Ince wonders why he can't get a job inside football anymore...
Domenico Berardi. Having a cracking season for Sassuolo again. Belongs to Juve though, might need a hand from Udinese again if we went for him.
Reads almost like 'Beardi' so a 'yes' from me as you can never have too many bearded italians! Anyone seen 'Munari' on the 'Cuprinol' ad playing in the changeover breaks in the Rome tennis?!
I think Denayer has looked really good at Celtic this year, on loan from City. If we had stayed down I'd have liked us to get him, but with us going up he'd be a risky option, especially since I'm sceptical of the quality of Scottish football. Great potential though.
Maybe not then, I just think we could use another Left-Back. I know we have Left-Wing backs who can play the full-back role, but an additional natural would harm no one.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that Celtic have been told they can't have him again next year, so he might be available. Only seen him play three times but very impressive.
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/serie-a/udinese-giaretta-allan-e-pronto-per-una-squadra-importante-su-di-natale-e-scuffet/ Mentions us in this piece, hard to guage the proper context using google translate. Seems to be concerning the future of Allan but may just be in the context of a growing Udinese. Anyone able to give more context? apologies if its a nothing article.
Kieran Trippier and George Friend if Boro don't go up). These two would be excellent signings, in my opinion. Would mean spending a bit more money than we usually would, though. Would be nice to get the Ellington transfer record out of the club!
The article in reference to Watford is only about us being in the premier league. I think with Allan it looks unlikely we will get him as it mentions in it that Juventus want him, as well as other big clubs. Basically it's just the sporting director of Udinese giving updates on how they see players, and only mentions us as a sideline
