I painstakingly watched the whole of this video, I'm surprised my boys are still talking to me after me taking them to watch us for nearly thirty years. We have had some rough seasons, seven home defeats on the trot and then a couple of draws, that's why I walked away from Stamford Bridge last Saturday with a smile on my face!

I guess youve noticed that on YT you can find most of our season reviews now. From the early 80's up in to the 2010's. Some good.. some not so.

The mental celebrations with people rushing down the steps after Rich's goal went in at Swansea for me harked back to the good ol' days of the terraces, similarly and not for the first time after getting cramp after standing for the best part of two hours in a confined space at Chelsea it made me think how much better a terrace would have been up there with people allowed much more space to move around.

It's funny that I should be getting nostalgic for the terrace days, when my only experience of terraces has been as a neutral at lower/non-league games, but such was the powerful impact of the terraces that they infiltrate into football fans' minds of how things used to (and still could) be, regardless of whether they were "there" or not.

Sometimes i feel terracing appeals more to those that havent experience it. Personally ive got no desire to re-visit those days of large terraces.. but if i was a 20 something no doubt i would.

What we need of course is choice & i think it's inevitable safe standing is on the way. Gonna takes a couple of seasons yet i would think though.
