If I am honest we were lucky to go into half time level because Fulham had the best chances and from what I understand one of Helguson's goals was ruled out wrongly (oh well...need a bit of luck!) 2nd half we came out and attacked,hitting the woodwork twice but then Colins John missed a real sitter to win Fulham the game. Great atmosphere from our support. Not really sure what happened to Priskin for his red card but I guess it was 2 bookings which is fair enough. Sadly the whole match was overshadowed by a very nasty looking injury to Anti Niemi and hopefully he will be ok because its never nice to see a player go off in a neck brace.
Absoloutly. A very good goalkeeper, and hopefully he can recover well enough to still be that. Overall, we played ok, and were lucky i think regarding heidars ruled out goals, but a we've gained a point.
Both teams put their all into it and it wasn't nice to see a goalkeeper go into a neck brace and get stretchured off. HH's goal was wrongly dissalowed so i'll call a draw a fair result.
Nice to see a bit of luck go the Hornets way for a change. Could be a good point gained if we can get a few new faces in and a couple of wins. It could be worse we could be West Ham fans. ;D
The Fulham fans are moaning some of our fans booed/sang cheerio, cheerio when the goalie was carried off? Must admit I did not hear that but if so shame on those who were invovled. Sounds like the referee handled it well. You have to be careful when someone has an injury like that.
