has anyone downloaded this? i did yesteray and it made a bit of an improvement on my game its got all the current transfers on it makes the game so much more intersting
Just downloaded it and installed it but it doesnt seem to have gone onto the game. Does yours just come up 'version 7.02' when you go back into it or do you have to do something to it? Also had trouble with the previous patch! Hope that makes sense!
Once you've downloaded it to your desktop you double click on it and this should bring up the FM Patcher and you click setup and it'll then proceed to unzip all the files and then once it's done it should say 359 files completed and you exit. For the data update to occur you need to start a new game and upon doing so select the 7.0.2 update database. For further info go to www.sigames.com and register on their forums and ask for help.
Downloaded it last nightbut haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Did download a data update from somewhere else a week or so back but it was pretty poor in all honesty so i'm looking forward to this one.
question(may be stupid) do you have to start a new game after you download this patch or can you conyinue with your old one? cheers
For the data update to work you need start a new game however the fixes should work with a current game.

if i already have a saved game before i install the patch, will i still be able to play it after i intall it?
You'll be able to play it yes but it will be the same teams as pre-january window however you'll be able to play your game with the fixes. If you want both the data update and fixes then a new game is needed.
Why haven't they just released a patch with the fixes on, like usual? I don't want the data update dammit
