I will party when the following players are dropped: Mahon Lee Francis Mackay Mariappa (he'll be alright in the Championship I think) Smith (to give him a kick up the backside)
from what i hear, smith has been enjoying a renaissance of sorts, which has been ignored by us and his team mates on the pitch.
I dont think Mackay should be dropped he hasn't done too much wrong, he's just too slow to play against someone as quick as Johnson. Marriapa is still learning the right back position, give him a year or so and he will be solid. Smith has had a couple of decent second halves. The others i agree they should be dropped.
Mackay should be dropped he's pants, ok he has been good in the past (helping us get promotion etc..) and reads the game well, but at this level not good enough, end of story. Smith, ok he has a few good halves, but again not good enough. Next season maybe good in the Fizzy Pop. It may be said we don't have anybody else, but why doesn't Aidy play some of our new signings? Why did he buy them?? Was it just for show? If he bought them for the future then play them now to gain experience against the best ready for next season. Against Charlton i'd like to see, Williams, Hoskins, Cavalli, Rinaldi and Loach (if Foster isn't fit) all given a chance to show what they can do. If we lose it's not as critical now as it could have been, seeing as we're almost doomed.
i think for the beginning of next season smith might announce that he needs to be playing at a higher level before engenering a transfer to the newly relegated leeds united.
I would like to see more of Hoskins after all the hype about him. If he bought them for the future maybe they are actually for the future. I understand that they should be given a chance to show what they can do, but Aidy may feel that they are not ready for first team football. Im sure when the time is right he will play the younger players he has bought.
Lee was only brought in to replace Foster so he wont play Mahon wont get dropped because he is captain Francis may get dropped Mackay only struggles against pacy strikers, otherwise i wouldn't drop him Mariappa is doing well and is still learning so he wont get dropped Smith playing really well recently so will not get dropped either So i think you wont party for a long time yet!
If that is the case, then it shows how poor his transfer dealings were in the window. He's a good manager but still has much to learn.
When I come back down south for Watford games I stay at my grandparents, they have the internet. So I'm able to come on here and vent my frustrations after home games! :rant:
