It'll be easier for some of the press to place the blame on those refugees coming in and fuel the fire of rumour. since 9/11 it seems we've been in a situation where people can't help but watch the 24 hour live news - craving an instant update

It's a tragic despicable event and I'm sure as Paris is so close to London most of us have felt affected by it in some way

 

How else do we stop giving them the freedom of travelling around Europe without closing borders? and even if we could stop them travelling through the Alps or skirting the coast in boats to avoid controls, confining them to the countries they land in is just nimbyism.

 

Despite the horrific nature of these attacks, the annual death toll from terrorist-related activity is pretty miniscule in the great scheme of things. To change the way civilised society operates in the face of these idiots is absurd, timid and exactly what they want.

They were muslims though, why pretend otherwise? It's dishonest to pretend that terrorism of this nature is nothing to do with Islam. Yes, it's a backwards, literalist interpretation of their scripture that is abhorred by the overwhelming majority of muslims but I don't think it helps to pretend that it is unrelated to their religion.

It's preposterous to seek any other motivation for IS other than they give themselves - to provoke the 'Crusaders' into apocalyptical battle with them, or to have the West withdraw from the Caliphate so they can get on with ethnically cleansing the region.

It's even more preposterous to see it as an Israeli action in any shape or form and that whiffs of the usual 'Jewish conspiracy' rubbish that I hope your above.

Hatred towards the west is a rather dangerous comment I'd say.

 

I think it's perfectly natural to have a special bond with countries that are either geographically or culturally close to your own country, which explains UK and US interest in these events.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this, but these type of comments always pop up suggesting Jewish conspiracies etc.

I was about to post about the amazing documents you can see in the 9/11 museum in New York (passenger's belongings, documents from the offices of the floors that were hit etc.) but then I realised you'll probably just claim 9/11 was a conspiracy as well

I'm not sure how force and all that works but if someone has a passport in his pocket and blows himself up via a bomb strapped to his back, I'm surprised any of his limbs survive let alone his passport.
