Paolo Vernazza, taking a stab at playing for weymouth....poor blokes not been the player he could have been since that incident...good luck, hopefully some of us south coasters will get to see ya.
I think it changed him completely,he just started playing well up til that stabbing. He was even on Crime-watch.
Vanazza and Hyde never really hit it off together and he was always the scape goat. Very inconsistant but had massive potential. It must have a massive effect on anyone that gets stabbed, at least he is now fit and well and although not playing at a top level is able to get on with his career
I always rated Vernazza, very creative when he wanted to be... its such a shame to see him so far down the league at his age. Genuinely wish him all the best!
i always thought he would become an excellent player after he signed for us shame it never worked and thr robbery has changed him for ever good luck, i hope he does the buisness
I'd like to see him up the north side of division 2 again. His name is so brilliant for a footballer, and he was very eye catching on his day. Shame. Hope he does really well there.
I echo what has already been said, had so much potential and alot of strengths to his game. That was all ruined by some scumbag. Good luck Big V!
Echo whats already been said and wish him well. I still can't grasp why the stabbing has affected his football in such a detrimental way ... does anyone know how Ronnie Wallwork has coped with his attack which I seem to remember was far worse.
