I love outdoor pursuits shops. I can't pass one without going in and having a browse and I may even buy some gadget or article of clothing. Then I get in my car and drive home and sit at my computer. That's not to say I'm a lazy git; I do sports but I don't really need a compass or handwarmers or a microfibre towel and I haven't been camping since 1976 so I don't understand the 'pull' of these shops.

Is anyone else pulled into shops (lingerie and Ann Summers aside) that don't have any relevance to their lives?

NB. The poster wishes to make it clear that they are not offended by outdoor pursuits, lingerie or Ann Summers shops and does not wish them to all be closed down. Camping is another matter.

You really don't want to read too much into it, you know? I might be led to believe that according to your sig you hold in your heart the patron saint of sufferers from leprosy, plague and syphillis. ;)

My outdoor pursuit is to get home as quick as possible to my comfy couch and to hibernation mode.
