Considering how long he was out, I think he played well against Pompey and Man U. It's just him and the rest of the team were complete **** against Blackburn. I admire the simple common sense the Mirror employs...
Agreed, off topic. The mirror is ***** though. I don't think the mentioned players will go. More likely a few of the newbies that have fail to impress. I fully expect Malky Alec & Powell to stop playing completely and take up full time coaching positions with us, Powell may disappear to another club? A few others mooted elsewhere that have been on the fringes for years but never broken through. Don't think many who have played this season will go, maybe the transfer window next season if they fail to secure their place in the starting 11. Players coming in? well I still feel that a keep will be on the books, possibly one or two wingers and a defender. Who I want to stay.... Ashikodi, Carlisle, Shittu Smith Boozer Bangers King, Priskin, Cavalli Rinaldi, Stewart. I think these players have the heart & character to raise their game further or have displayed enough potential.
Might get berated for this, but I would add Hendo to that list. Just needs a decent strike partnership, and he never gives anything less than his full.
I agree on adding Hendo, but also Williamson and hoskins. I don't feel they were ever really given a chance. Cedric Avinel also gets good reviews on here after reserve games so stick him in there too. Are we at 80% yet?
hendo's got to stay, i bet he can't wait to bash some championship defenders again. anyone mentioned williams? looked pretty good to me. how long is he out for?
I agree we should keep Hendo for next season, he has struggled this season but i don’t think the others have helped. His best asset was always heading, yet how many good crosses have we seen? Macca and Devlin were our best crossers of the ball last season, but and rightfully neither are with us. I also think Hoskins and Williamson should stay to see how they cope in the championship. We aren’t the type of club who can pay over £1 million, not play and then release two players – it’s the equivalent imo of Chelsea signing someone for £10 million and releasing them. They should also stay unless we get our money back.
Haha I don't think we can go around demanding Rotherham our cool million back. They'd go into liquidation
Indeed, for the same reason we shouldn't get rid of Kabba until if and when he is proven to be as bad as the boo-boys claim him to be...:dismay:
Kabba can have a jog lol. Never has been and never will be good enough. Hendo however will be vital next season, him and King up front again will be a joy to behold.
