...bloody crucial and more importantly VERY WINNABLE :D

As are the majority of our away games! (I know it's very much a change of stance from my quotes last week...but today I believe again :D )

This club proved last season that it can cope with pressure really well when it matters (we battered our way through the play-offs, and ran Sheff Utd very close towards end of season)!

Honest predictions are welcome...I think we can reach 40 points...but only if we keep our players fit and play with no fear like we did today and last season!

    Wigan (H) Win....21 points
    Everton (H) Win....24 points
    Charlton (H) Win....27 points
    Tottenham (A) Lose...27 points
    Chelsea (H) Lose....27 points
    Boro (A) Draw....28 points
    Pompey (H) Win....31 points
    Blackburn (A) Draw....32 points
    Man City (H) Win....35 points
    Sheff Utd (A) Win...38 points
    Reading (A) Lose...38 points
    Newcastle (H) Win...41 points

I think Wigan will get dragged in with Wet Pam and Charlton ;D

All we can do is concentrate on ourselves...if we go down with 41 points then we'd be very unlucky (would it suprise you? )

Even if we do go down, at least positive performances will show next season we'll be a force to be reckoned with

    Up the 'Ornets...let's 'ave it!

To be honest mate I think 36-38pts would do it this season. The other three all play each other a lot and still have trips to places like Arsenal, Chelsea and Moan Utd to deal with!

They miss King desperately, and with Dom Jolly changing the strikers every 2 mins they are a tad confused.

We coped with pressure by feeling that there was no pressure.....we were supposed to be relegation fodder and there we were in the play-offs. Every game was a bonus and we had nothing to lose. That attitude brought out the best in all the players.

Putting pressure on, as happened for the Sheffield United game, was a disaster, as it is for every 'must win' game. Aidy was pleased with the way the players seemed relaxed and able to enjoy playing yesterday. That's how we have to be for the rest of the season. No desperation, just playing for the bonus of being in the top division and maybe we'll clock up the points, every one a point gained rather than opportunities lost.

    My predictions

Ipswich (H) FA cup Win....Morale boosting 3-0 romp leading to...

    Wigan (H) Win....21 points
    Everton (H) Draw....22 points
    Charlton (H) Win....25points
    Tottenham (A) Lose...25 points
    Chelsea (H) Lose....25 points
    Boro (A) Draw....26 points
    Pompey (H) Draw....27 points
    Blackburn (A) Lose....27 points
    Man City (H) Win....30 points
    Sheff Utd (A) Draw...31 points
Reading (A) Win...34 points (they will not get to Europe so will faid near the end of the season)
    Newcastle (H) Win...37 points

I still feel that this may be enough as Wigan will soon join us in the battle, especially in 11 days time after we hammer them.

i think we will pick up three points agaist wigan also i hope they lose today and then its everton could be a very hard game for us and we will have to go out and win it as west ham play charlton that day i think the 24th of feb will decide who looks like they might stay up and who goes down well thats what i think
