If you could sign just one more player before the season start, who would you like............realistically?
Robbie Fowler! A great player who has certainly got another glorius season to be had before retirement..... Sod the wages.
I doubt Robbie would come south for us, he's much more likely to stay opp north. Cardiff is the furthest he'd go. If we weren't to lose anyone then I would go for Heidar.
Alan Lee from Ipswich, I think he would fit in very nicely here. He scored 16 goals for the tractor boys last season and I think he would score even more for us, with the service our wingers would supply for him.
Would definately increase our global fan base there! Could be a good call there actually. Utd have spent a fair bit of money on him I think a few years ago (£2.5 million?) and have invested a lot of time waiting for him to become a regular international for him to get a work permit (he could get a Belguim passport I believe but this would make him invalid to play for China). The problem is, I have only seen him play once and he missed an open goal from 4 yards out! My ideal target would be Scott Sinclair on loan ,or like others Fowler, but he seems to be over in Sydney now looking at a potential move.
Foster could come back if he can't break into the number one slot at Manure. There's not many players I'd want to come home, but Fozzy, H & Robbo would fit in I think.
lol...hes on his way to Sydney....and ps..cardiff is further south than us! On the other hand I'd love to see Fowler in Yellow, but not 'alf as much as i'd like to see Heider Heider Helguson, Heider Heider Helguson, Heider....Hes on his way chaps
