Reporter talking about how today's game is the 'last chance saloon'. So who do they choose to interview? Kevin Afleck of the WO!! Describes Aidy as tetchy in recent weeks, booing of the captain last week, fans getting restless, recent anti-climaxes in big matches, the football isn't pretty and he predicted a 0-0 draw or 1-0 either way. Wow. What an absolute *****!

Charlton go on tv all positive and we follow it up with the most negative of all local reporters

i think he right alot fans are getting restless mainly the gloryhunters and with the players gettin boo i dont blame some people because a mount of money we all pay to watch watford and we get performeces like last week and bolton and sheff utd they desvered to get booed other may disagree with me and today is a big game we only got a really small chance of staying up and if we can get a result today there still got a really smalll small chance of staying up

I agree that local newspapers should be unbiased, but, the W/O should still try to support the club and be positive and they haven’t been at all in recent years. The letters they print criticising the team are surely only a minority of fans, and it is no surprise that Simpson and Co. have been cold towards them in the past.

I haven’t bothered reading the W/O since all that business 2 years ago, which imo was just a complete farce. The majority of people in Watford don’t support the club, therefore the audience of the W/O is for people who see the club as a hindrance on a Saturday…
