Well I'm still of the opinion that Fernando got one in the face as were a couple of independent Wolves fans sat in their South stand by their posts elsewhere. You may disagree however no one can argue a better viewing position than the referee, not even the cameras as he was perfectly placed. I'll be interested to see how the appeal goes.

Could be that Sako himself had the intention of pushing with two hands but Fessi's push caused Sako's hand/arm flick up involuntarily but I don't doubt there was contact.

Anyone who hasn't seen the footage in HD really shouldn't comment.

I wasn't sure about the video, then I noticed Sako's hand as his arm comes back down, you can see that his hand is still completing the follow through from the swipe (sorry can't describe it very well - but take a look - a picture is worth a thousand words). This doesn't prove contact, but FFs initial reaction is instantaneous.

This is an interesting clip. It looks as if Sako's fingers may have clipped Nando's eye. In the other clip I saw Nando appeared to fall well after the incident, but not here.

Despite all you've heard I very much suspect Jackett bottled out at the last minute. He'd have to present video evidence and not those blurry low-res vines either.... Sako would get at least one extra game added to his ban.
