I don't think we need to buy one, not with Francis and Williams due to come back around Xmas.

However, a short term loan to about January of a Danny Murphy type player would be a good idea. Perhaps with an option to buy clause, just in case he becomes invaluable.

I wouldn't have been surprised if Francis had been sold had he not got injured

 

I would have been surprised if we'd found a buyer. Anyway, let's hope that last season's woeful showing is behind him and Francis proves his worth when he gets back from injury.

 

Once again I think we need to give all the MF we have a run out in the first team before we decide they are not good enough.

And no, Gillingham and Sarfend do not count as first team games...

There is talent in Francis though even if he is a lazy ******* most of the times.

I think he felt >:dismay:< playing alongside Gav I really do. Because he did play well with Bangura and in a 5 man midfield.

It's hard for any midfield to impress alongside either Gav whose not known for his footballing ability or our style of play hoof.

Our centre mids can never really get into the game. I'm sure Willow can run with the ball, do neat passes as the likes of Rinaldi but it just doesnt happen in our first team or they dont get the oppunity.

Rinaldi run v Chelsea and Willow v Newcastle. We do have midfielders who can carry the ball

Both the latter two like getting into a challenge or 2.

Williams is very composed player maybe when he returns he can do a Carrick role. Take the ball of the defenders and start the play.

A creative midfielder to replace that d**k Gavin Mahon is just what we need to complete the puzzle!

Murphy on loan is a good shout, or perhaps a nipper from Manure, Arsenal or Chelski?

 

We have many a nipper.

 

Yeah but unless they play for Manure, Chelski or ARSEnal they won't get a sniff

It's a shame that t**t Forrester has gone...think he'd have been ideal for that creative midfield role!

 

I've said this before and I'm not going to apologise for saying it again!!!

I think we have the ideal player at the club already, though he might not be quite ready to fill the roll just yet, so getting in an experienced MF campaigner like a Danny Murphy to groom him for the role would probably do him good, and that player is..........................
