Ok lets be honest, Cardiff are a better team and Malky went to Cardiff as he thought that they had a better chance of getting promotion, but, he has signed all the players who he was interested in signing for Watford, now surely these players will not be up to scratch trying to push for promotion? Ok so let's have a look at the players we've signed...... Craig Conway: Very good talent, attacking, creates alot of goals and as he's able to play on both wings, he's therefor more versatile than Chris Burke. Improvement: Definately [tick] Don Cowie: The only time last season that we had a box-to-box midfielder is when we had Aaron Ramsey back, our style of player brought the best out in that position. With the likes of Conway and Whittingham in the team, as long as Cowie will stay fit, he's got a chance of doing the business. If not, he's a decent player off the bench. Improvement and better than Olofinjana: Without question! Andrew Taylor: Now over the past two seasons, we've been treated to some pretty special left-backs. Anyone that was at Vicarage Road when you beat us 4-1 will know the sort of shift Lee Naylor tends to put in. Then we went in for J-Lloyd Samuel, this guy is incredible. Has all the talent in the world but quite simply refuses to use it or even use 1% of it. Therefor, Taylor will immediately own tht position out-right and will improve the back four no end. Improvement: Easily! Overall: Malky Mackay has not only been clever in the type of players he's brought in, he's also yet to spend penny of the "Warchest" that he has which is refreshing to see. Now if he can continue to pick up the likes of Earnshaw and then if he has to spend a few £££'s, we'll go and buy David Goodwillie. Anyway, this has been emotional chaps, good luck in League 1
