You're right. It really doesn't feel like that long ago. That is really sad. Shame they didn't pirate a few movies instead, probably would have gone down for longer.
Picked up a copy of the Standard last night with this news on the front cover and couldn't believe it. A ten year old child was killed in a senseless waste. No family should have to see their baby's life snuffed out like that by some scum and much less, have to see, 5 or 6 years later, the same scum walking free as young men with their lives ahead of them, whilst the wounds of your loss are still red raw. Killing a human child is barely worse than a petty crime, it seems, judging by the sentences served. What's worse, is that they've already been done once before, when out on licence, for hanging out with their old ganster buddies. Doesn't take a genius to work out that it's only a matter of time before they're back offending again and making other people's lives a misery at the very least, or killing someone else at the worse.
