Two interesting decisions from Anthony Taylor. Two soft penalties given, one for each side. One scored and one missed.

Maybe he can't decide on which "big" team to favour today, so is siding with both of them.

Oh now a red card for Arsenal.

    ...and the penalty to Arsenal?

    Was a red card .

Kane penalty looked offside beforehand so maybe the ref felt sorry for Arsenal .

    Bad miss though .

    Red was harsh IMHO

If the ref sees the Arsenal players high boot, studs showing attempt to win the ball as a red, then how was Danny Rose not shown the same for his attempt to score by lunging high, studs showing, and catching the Arsenal keeper flush in the chest? He received a yellow card for arguably the same tackle.

Taylor consistently poor. Atwell now refusing to give a penalty against Man Utd irrespective of how much the Southampton players get fouled.

Yes....apparently they were straight forward penalties as well. Amazing, a referee not giving a penalty against United at Old Trafford.....who'd have thought.

Because Atwell kept them in the game at a vital moment, they were allowed to go on and win a tight match 3-2.

In other news, as feared, Palace are now looking very potent. Brilliant signing getting Batshuyai. He's made all the difference to them. As I said before the Liverpool match, if we don't lose our next 5 games I'd be very pleased and a little surprised. The three away games were/are a nightmare for us, and I believe we're playing Leicester and Palace at the worst possible times.

Does this really warrant a separate thread rather than just going in the general PL discussion?

Why? Are we on thread rationing then?

    End thread austerity.

Don’t be a pillock. This is a Watford forum. If we had threads for all sorts of other clubs’ games, the stuff that most of us want to engage with would rapidly be submerged and difficult to locate. That’s why the general PL thread is there: I’m surprised the mods did merge this.

Didn't realise you ran the show. Please forward your set of rules so we can all abide by them in future. If you do not do this, then how is anyone supposed to know what will upset you?

It’s a perfectly reasonable suggestion mate, if you want to be a ****, carry on.

In any case it was aimed more at the mods than you.

Calling someone a pillock and a ****, doesn't sound perfectly reasonable to me. Sounds like a playground bully.

As requested, just forward your set of rules so we can all abide by to avoid upsetting you in the future.

I called you that because you made a sarcastic comment about an obviously sensible suggestion which wasn’t primarily aimed at you anyway. Popping you on ignore now and won’t lose any sleep over that.

The "Ignore List". Is that like the naughty step?
