Noddy and Bangura at Utd + game in general

Noddy is truely awful and needs to be booted out in the summer! Not only is he a horrible little oik but he's a poor excuse for a footballer! He was a joke Wednesday night...only attempted to beat his man once and when he attempted it he did it with ease! He's too negative and can't cross to save his life!

I've got a moan about Bangura's attitude after the Utd game! EVERY player came over to us after the game and clapped our sterling efforts...except Bangura who waltzed off down the tunnel in a huff! I think that's disgusting, and I hope Aidy's had a word!

I had a feeling we'd go 5 across the middle BUT only if Mahon was fit! Why is he playing Powell (a left back) centre midfield and leaving Williamson on the bench?

Oh well, we were well and truely beaten in the end, but a good effort for the first 65 minutes of the match!

Because Williamson is unfit still after coming back from injury, even more so that Mahon.

Right, fair enough Williamson is unfit but why Powell in midfield? Why not play Hoskins in a deeper role in midfield? At least when we went 1-0 down we could have pushed in upfront with Henderson and kept Bouazza on the left!

Williamson looked fit as a fiddle when he came on though (unlike Kabba)! He beat two of their men with ease.

As I said on another thread, I think Williamson showed some potential against United. I hope to see him on Saturday where he can continue to impress.

Smith is another player who dips in and out fo form which is ok in the Championship but not at this level.

Leave Bangura alone! He was merely looking to find Rooney for round 2 :p

The only thing he should 'dip in' is an acid tank...

What's with all the bittching about Smitty ?

Out here in sunny Southern California I only get to see the televised games (and missed the Man U one because sodding Setanta decided to show Spurs V Arse without telling Tivo) and he was good at the start of the season and has been good for all of January. He had a bad patch during November and December, but he is certainly no worse than some of our other players.

Yes, he needs to learn how to lift his crosses (and especially corners) a bit, but he causes a lot of trouble down the right wing and most of our chances have involved him throughout the whole season.

He may have said some unwise things about us when he left us, but I cannot remember and the fact that he came back to us and has been doing his best for us should put any such comments into context. Everyone is allowed to be an idiot occasionally... heck, Alec used to play for scum !

At least he did not dump in our faces and then rub it in like our good friend David Connolly.

Get off noddy's case a bit. If he messes up, tell him (and us) all about it. But if he doesn't, stop begging for him to ask for a transfer. He might just grant your wish. I have not seen another of our players that is as good on the right wing as he is. Boozer is a better winger, but has a strong preference for the left. Maybe one of the new guys is the next Stuart Scullion, but I would prefer not to rely on that just yet.

smith has the same problem as spring. Good championship player out of his depth in the premiership
