New Kits!

Hardly big, exciting or groundbreaking news but the official Watford twitter has replied to somone in the last half an hour that "There will be new #watfordfc home & away kits for season 2013/14 guys, yes. All done & dusted. News soon!". I'm not a big buying-the-kit guy myself but I guess this is kinda exciting right?
Plus they also replied to someone mentioning they haven't sorted out pre-season friendlies yet.

 

Would be good to have them available before the new season starts for a change

 

Obviously yellow for home (We haven't sold our soul to the Pozzo family right?) but i'll be interested in what the away kit looks like. Seems to change all the time.

 

Obviously this wouldn't happen, but some people have jokingly suggested a Udinese style away kit. Maybe an Udinese style 3rd kit in the 2014/15 season? Slightly humorous but also looks cool!

 

A half and half combo of verical black and white and horizontal red and white stripes would be...

terrible.

 

Don't write it off so soon. Watford once played in black and white, granted it was a long time ago but whilst others may see the lighter side to it, it will also have history. However, I'm hoping for a reissue of the old blue and white Blaupunkt shirt.

My favourite was the away AC Milan kit.... but sadly not appropriate now with our Udinese links.

 

Get me this kit, I need this kit, wow this would be fantastic and would sell very very well!

 

I have heard from a reliable source that the home kit will be predominantly yellow. Don't ask me to reveal my source.

Re. the away strip, I am happy with anything except for Brighton's away strip this season. Those green and black strips made me want to chunder everywhere.

Would anyone else want to keep the current strips for another season? I have really grown to love them :love2:

well I for one want red shorts.

 

I think we should go for a three club inter changeable kit.

We should have Red & Yellow or Black and Yellow stripes as our 1st kit, the Udinese 1st kit as our 2nd kit, and the Granada 1st kit, though maybe stripes instead of hoops, as our 3rd.

The other two clubs could do the same, by using our 1st kit as their 2nd and each others as their 3rd.

I bet "The Pozzo's" could get a fantastic deal with a kit supplier if they did that, as the only thing that would need changing would be the badge, or maybe we could come up with a unified badge, but that might be a step too far?

Yellow and black hoops with black/yellow shorts and black/yellow socks would be sexual, I am all in favour (seriously).

Is it just a poor picture, or are the Cardiff shorts meant to be a slightly darker red than the shirt. It's a bit odd if so I think.

I like red shorts. I don't like that v-neck. We will probably get black shorts and that v-neck though.

 

Please god don't be the same as Cardiff's, why don't they just keep it simple?!

Unfortunately that v-neck looks like it is Puma's 'thing' for next season. I noticed that our new training stuff is the same design as Newcastle's away kit so maybe our home one will be like that with the away one being the disgusting v-neck one?

 

Put a Watford badge there instead = away kit.

Away kit neck is nice and simple. Would be nice to have that instead of anything fayyyyncy.

 

I'd like to see us develop a half and half home kit with yellow on the right hand side and the colours of whatever team we're playing against on the left side with the date and venue written across the chest.

I'm sure it would go down a storm with our extended fan base.

 

Could leave the other side blank so they can colour it in with their crayons?

 

Feck it, just have the other half as Arsenal, then we cover all bases.
