Though according to some Hartlepool fans he can be a bit error prone, drops the odd cross and his kicking isn't that great:

Ive heard hes a good keeper, but not a great one, and it will be a big step up from where hes at, personally id rather have a keeper that has proven himself more, or an younger one with more potential.

 

Good at saving pens from that clip.

yeah some were poor, but some of the saves from normall shots were pretty classy.

 

No way should we get him.

What on earth would be the point in having Lee with very little Championship football under his belt, and then another keeper untried and untested in the Championship? And then Loach, who has less than both?

We need Lee to compete with a decent, Championship standard keeper. Not just get another keeper with no experience.

 

i see on BBC teletxt that he has turned down an improved/new contract at hartlepool...............

 

Surely everyone is unproven at some point? Ben Foster was unproven in the Championship but we still took him on and now look at him.

Hartlepool have signed a new keeper from Coventry today so defnately looks like he will be going. From watching a bit of Soccer Saturday before, Jeff Stelling and co seem to rate him highly. Would prefer a keeper with Prem experiecne but he might very well be the answer

 

He may be a new keeper, but he ain't going to be our new keeper.

Can't really say I'm that bothered.

I will not disclose , but it is reliable info. Also DeMerit and Shittu are staying, Mahon is walking.

Finally K. Richardson from Man U could be a possible loan from Man U, but Sheffield United are also sniffing around as well.

 

Would prefer Poom to Kuzak apart from that it sounds all good

Buy or loan? If loan, they can keep him. I'm sick of us developing other clubs' players in positions where we can either buy someone or play what we've got and do well doing that.

I'd rather give Lee half-a-season to shine than getting a keeper in on loan.

Man U are very impressed with the way we have developed Foster, Foster will be Man U's no 1 next season, Van will be no 2, Van will retire next Season so Kuszack needs some shooting practice

 

And so they should be but I'd be extremely disappointed if we get Kuszack on loan.

I'm sorry Dougie but I find that extremely hard to believe. Our captain and most consistently picked this season is going to be released? Either he'll be sold or he stays - and I bet it's the latter.

I'm pleased to hear both Jay and Shittu are staying. I think we'll have the strongest central defense in the league this coming season with the choice of 4 class defenders (I'm banking on Jackson being class here - bare with me).

 

As much as I think he loves himself way too much, is a bit greedy and doesn't deserve to be in Man U's team, Richardson on loan in the Championship would be fantastic for us. He would provide good competition for both left-back and left-wing, freeing up funds with which to buy a right-back and right-winger. His pace would also suit our style of play really well.

I would have thought Man U would surely be more inclined to send him on loan to us rather than Sheffied Utd?

I really hope Shittu stays.

 

I completely agree i used to think Mahon did a job and was just not glamorous so got the stick but he is just generally poor and predictable.

 

Surely we won't both be signing Kusczak on loan as well as Poom permanently?!
