That would be a fantastic signing. Apparently this is at an advanced stage. Reminds me of when we signed Capoue from them. I think he'd have the same impact for us.

I agree. Even though he's 32 I'd be really happy with this. I've no idea why many Spuds fans seem to hate him.

 

Fair play if we pull this one off. We saw how easily Brighton, and Bissouma in particular had the beating of our midfield, but a dynamic destroyer like Sissoko would go some way to addressing the ponderous nature of our midfield - Kucka and Etebo aside.

 

They hated Capoue and Gomes too, so that's nothing to worry about.....in fact, it's a good sign.

Sissoko was actually rated to be one of the best midfielders in the world when at Toulouse.

Granted, he isn't...but he does have a World Cup winners medal. Not many Watford players have one of those!

 

He should come to the training ground wearing it every day Kurt Angle style.
