Do you mean that Doris will suddenly start scoring hatricks every game or that he will no longer play for us ? After Blackburn, I can actually see it going either way... I get the feeling that once (if) the first one goes in, there will be a flood.
Yeah, but Sky Sports are reporting it as Probably rather than Possible, which seems like they have some real information.
Lol, re-read the article- I have no idea where you have got that idea from. The entire basis for the article is merely that: "reports in France are suggesting Kallon has appeared on his radar." Just because Aidy said that he was very close to signing two players (one of which was Kabba), does not mean that the other one is probably Kallon; he could be referring to anyone. And what does "appearing on his radar" actually mean anyway? It suggests that Aidy knows of the player, but it's far from being the same thing as making an offer for him.
Absolutely right. Aidy has said that he would never sign someone without seeing them - if he hasn't even spoken to the guy it doesn't leave much time before the window and is probably quite unlikely. This would seem an outside opportunity but the sort of gamble maybe worthwhile at this stage of the season as long as the player's demands are not ridiculous. I think another possible signing is Matty Jarvis of Gillingham - they are live on Sky tonight.
Sky Sports colour codes its 'rumours' and the colour coding of this one is orange rather than yellow. My suspicion is that they called up the club and asked if they were interesting in Kallon. Rather than saying 'no', they were told 'no comment'. That is probably enough to move it from pure rumour to probable deal in progress (though it might still fall through, of course).
Interesting that the Sierra Leone website says of Al "according to myfootballnews.com, he is worth £6 Million." Sell Him! Who else can we shift at these mental prices? We would go down, but we'd be ferkin' minted!
