Watford and Fiorentina are battling it out for Torino midfielder Mirko Valdifiori, according to reports.

The 31-year-old Italian has managed to get his career back on track this season in Turin after joining from Napoli last summer.

Valdifiori has made 25 appearances in Serie A, helping Sinisa Mihajlovic's side guarantee a top-half finish.

The two clubs, according to Italian outlet La Nazione, are now tracking Valdifiori and they are ready to go toe to toe for him this summer.

Both clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in Valdifiori and Torino have been notified ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

The midfielder, whose sole cap for Italy came in 2015 during a friendly against England, has two years to run on his current contract.

also we've got Suárez returning from Valencia who don't want to keep him for some strange reason. Yay.

 

I'm actually surprised they don't want him. He has been ok for them. He has started half their games for them this season and scored 3 goals as a DMC. I wouldn't be surprised if they are trying to get his price down.
