We all knew we weren't going to be signing an established and proven striker for £5-10m. Remember how little we have spent on transfers in this league. There will just be a few cheap punts, hopefully punts that come off.
Club have given two different bits of info to two different members of staff One of Goldenorn or Louorns has just unwittingly exposed their mole
I quite like the sound of this guy to be honest! Recent good record - very good in fact. Right profile and isn’t just a battering ram. Decent age so if he kicks on, we make good money too. I would personally rather be spending €1m-€2m on this guy than £8m on Piroe.
Constantly complaining about the Nanny state, which is quite ironic considering he is one of the few to have actually had a Nanny.
Must've watched the same highlights video as you as had exactly the same thought! Awful defending in most of the clips. He looks a bit lumbering but if he gets time and space to use his oil tanker turning circle, he knows where the goal is.
Nobody should ever have to apologise for posting tip offs on here imo, even if they turn out to be wrong or don’t come to any fruition. The forum would be a less interesting place if @Goldenorn @Burnsy @YellowKicks @reids etc stopped sharing things they’d heard. You guys are appreciated. Without you, we’d only have idiots like me on here talking nonsense all day!
Appreciate it. With the incomings being as slow as they have lately this window it’s nice to try and keep fellow fans as in the loop as possible. some of the info I receive is very vague so either wait for more info or make a bit of an educated guess based off of what I have.
Got it from that list...Oscar Pettersson! The clue is to be found in his Wiki entry: "Born with a naturally perfect pitch". Welcome aboard Oscar, unfortunately we no longer get called the blues. I thank you, I'm here all week. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=o...#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:f304c5ab,vid:NTJhHn-TuDY
Best expected vs. actual goal ratio in Allsvenskan. Powerful targetman, very clinical in the box. Danish national team’s head coach recently said it’s been exciting to follow him and that he is developing really well. With @Burnsy on this. Like the sound of him.
Looks like he started off on fire for his Swedish club with 7 goals in his first 10 games but currently on a run of 1 in the last 12 (and that one was against the mighty Pyunik Yerevan of Armenia in the Europa Conference League qualifiers). This would be a humongous punt based on his record, was playing in the third tier in Denmark just a couple of seasons ago. But Manga does have a record for unearthing gems so we'll see. If we even sign him that is...
And from an off-field point of view, Danish players usually settle fairly well here in England. No great climatic shocks, they all speak decent English etc
Think we are finally seeing a 100% Manga signing with this one. Sort of player he has made a career out of signing and it going well
That says a lot. He's ours. The Championship Haaland. The rest of the league are not ready for what's to come.
Slightly concerning that in this recent run of 12 games with one goal, he was only a sub once and played the full 90 the vast majority of times. Was hoping he'd been eased back from injury to explain the drop off. Having watched a couple of highlights videos, seen the level he's been playing at and taken a closer look at his goal stats, this is even more of punt than I first thought. But I guess that's the pond we're fishing in as we're basically broke...
That first goal was horrific, he touch the ball 4 times and travelled less than a metre. Ive always said dont judge until they wear the shirt but in this case… please… just.. stay there…
Looks quite nippy for a big lad and actually runs at the defence. If he can hold up play and create room for himself, he'll be an instant upgrade on Bayo who is more of a pressing/poacher forward.
Oh they are, they are just holding back their laughter when he turns out to be another massive flop. I do hope, if we get him, that he proves me very wrong.
